I write here to report a problem with a battery which could not be charged by AC adapter. In my case, I got a working battery by making an exchange at an NCR quick-garage. The staff told me that the probable cause of the problem was that there had been damage to one of the rechargeable batteries connected in series in the battery unit. My mind was at ease because the trouble was not serious such as in a previous report by Aki Itoh.
