Passionate, burning red.

This is my PB2400c/180 with Macintosh SE (SE/30 motherboard and Turbo040 inside) (right), carrying bag (left) and my fountain pen (front) as a scale. You will see how small the 2400c is. (It's not fake, yes, how big the pen is!) Don't you think it has smooth curved surfaces look like exotic Ferrari F355?

I have been using this red comet for nearly 5 months, so the vinyl films have already shrunk at their edges. (Yes, it's not painted. See below.)

You will see a blue suede on palm-rest, and it's pretty good for both my palm and eyes! Screen was temporary inverted by a Gamma correcting utility.

From other persons' view, it is virtually red! (Note that you can see no red when you use it.) Since I don't need network connections, PC-Card slots are masked.

How to make it.

I used "Scotchcal MasterCut Film For Scotchmaster" cutting sheet, which is used for most colored machines, I suppose. You can find it at DIY or stationary shops and it's cheep. One meter is enough to cover a whole PB2400 body and a FD drive. It can fit curved surfaces very well. My machine could be disassembled without stripping any film at all, because each film could be separated along the parting lines of plastic parts. Anyway, it's very easy to customize your machine by this method. Don't be nervous, try it!
