WHAT WAS NEW?: In March 1999...

March 1999

23/3/99

I have not forgotten about my site! :-p

I heard a rumour that some computer virus will cause serious damage all over the world on 26 April, the 13th anniversary of Chernobyl accident. Mmm... it sounds real, but I do not know. What do you think? I myself have never had one before though, maybe I should not underestimate. Such rumours are always annoying!

I will not be connecting to the internet on that day anyway, because I will be having a holiday without my PBs! (I would say that this is my way to love and protect them. :-p)

It does not happen often though... Some conflict between extensions occurs during the startup even though nothing has been touched at all. Usually it ends up as it was after a rather futile struggle -- all extensions go back to Extensions folder and it starts up perfectly normal as if nothing happend. That is true! Haven't you experienced this? :-p

Such things do not upset me any longer, as being a Mac user for a while. I wonder if it is a good thing or a bad thing... :-p

Well done, Jayson! Duo280c for $230 is a bargain. I hope you will get a Dock soon.

It is March, already! :-p

I have just signed up the DuoList, a mailing list for Duo and PB2400 users. So far, it seems that the major issue discussed there at the moment is on PB2400 rather than Duo, but anyway I still have a lot of catching up to read. Phew...

I will share useful info with you here if I get some from the list. Of course you may join the list too. Don't worry, they are not talking 'too deep' stuff -- even I can understand most of them! :-p

Oh my God! It has been still 1998 here! :-p Why didn't anybody tell me!! I feel so stupid...
